7:00 PM - SUJATA SUBRAMANIAN performs around NYC with her duo, The Chimes, bringing originals and reimagined covers to noisy bars and cafes. She recently began performing with acclaimed guitarist Jamie Fox, who will be joining her. Together, they explore a mix of jazz, folk, and global influences with an easygoing style that reflects Sujata’s lifelong love of music.

7:30 PM - SUSAN KAESSINGER has been performing regularly for over 10 years with her musical group Misery Loves Company. She has written and performed music for two Artistic New Directions Theater Co. productions, and for the award-winning film The Rekindling. She is also currently a faculty member of Flatbush Community Theater where she teaches improvisational theater.

8:00 PM - AYANA LOWE is a NYC based jazz and blues singer. She and her band held down the house at the 55 Bar on Christopher Street for almost two decades, injecting her sultry, smoky voice into the American Songbook and R&B standards. Ayana has played with the Birdland Big Band and at Damrosch Park as part of Jazz at Lincoln Center.

8:30 PM - ARIA ANJALI, 17-year-old sensation, inspired by Jim Croce, Bob Dylan and Queen, captivates audiences with her evocative lyrics and melodies, and her intimate, yet powerful, sound. She has appeared at The Triad, City Winery, the Towne Crier, the Bluebird Cafe, and Fox & Locke. Her debut EP—recorded in Nashville—is on the horizon.

9:00 PM - BEV GRANT is an award-winning singer-songwriter, photographer, cultural worker and filmmaker with a distinctive voice and songwriting style and passion for storytelling. Renowned activist, Bev’s music reflects the struggles of the working class and oppressed around the world, as well as her personal feminist journey.
